Welcome to my wild life

When Life In La Stopped Feeding My Soul, I Knew I Needed More.

More meaning. More connection. I wanted to feel useful. To feel alive. That search led me to South Africa, where I became a certified safari guide. A world different from what I knew, yet I had never felt more at home. That’s where I discovered nature. Really discovered it. It’s beautiful. It’s raw. It’s unpredictable. That’s what I love about it. Being in the wild teaches you to pay attention. To yourself, to the land, to every creature that shares it with you.

Guiding Travelers Across The Wild

I've been lucky to take photographic and conservation-orientated guests through wondrous places around the world. The deserts of Namibia, the rivers of Brazil, the geysers of Yellowstone, to name a few. I’ve taught photography workshops, led conservation internships, and donated my artwork to support various causes. All of it matters. Yet at the heart of it all, are the private moments that still my breath and then wisp it away. A jaguar emerging from the inky water. A wolf locking eyes with me across a snowy field. Or when someone like you stands before one of my images, and feels that same connection to the wild and to a part of your very self. That’s why I do this. To experience those moments of recognition, and help others feel them too.

My Work Is About Connection. Always.

Connection between people and place. Between people and animals. Between the parts of ourselves we forget in cities and rediscover in nature. I use my camera to follow that path, to tell stories that remind us we are all one. And wild art photography? It’s about co-creating. A timeless, endlessly challenging dance that cannot be controlled. It can only happen with what life presents. When preparation meets opportunity. That’s the shot. That’s the magic. That’s what I wish to share with you.

Over the years, my work has reached places I never expected. It’s been featured in international photo contests, exhibited alongside wildlife legends, and used to raise money for causes I care about. I’ve taught for Yellowstone Forever, photographed for the Northern Rockies Conservation Cooperative, and helped raise over $2 million through Prints For Wildlife. I’ve spoken about ethics and storytelling, and had my work shared on podcasts and nonprofit stages.

But none of that means more to me than the people who stop in front of my photos and feel something stir. A personal recognition in a wild animal. Making you question how similar and how different we are from one another. To see yourself in another being. That’s how I know the work is doing what it’s meant to do.

Discover All Things wild, together

One of the greatest joys in my life—beyond living in the bush and connecting with the wild—is sharing it with others. When you join me in the field, it’s not just about the best light or the perfect shot. It’s about going where few ever go. Slowing down. Paying attention. Letting the wild speak to you. My custom photography safari tours are designed around your passions, your pace, your sense of adventure. And what you walk away with goes far beyond the lens.
