Kate Ochsman has always sought to step behind the veil — to experience truth beneath the surface. She has a longing to connect deeply with nature, with others, with the unseen. To experience life's fullness, she believes in duality: the balance of dark and light. Photography, the sculpting of light, gives that longing a shape. It allows her to feel intimately, be fully present, and co-create art with nature.
That belief in duality — as above, so below — shapes how she sees the wild.
